Job Description

Warner Bros. Discovery, through Warner Bros. Games Avalanche, is looking for an Advanced UI/UX Designer to help shape game interfaces for Hogwarts Legacy. Based in Salt Lake City, UT and working onsite, this role partners with other designers to translate direction into player-facing experiences, from the first screen players see to the moment they exit.

The work centers on designing clear, accessible interfaces and bringing them to life with Unreal Engine tools. You will support the creative intent of directors, develop wireframes with cross-functional teammates, and implement a cohesive user experience using Blueprints and UMG.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret the directors’ creative vision and build a UX that supports those values
  • Create an immersive player experience across the full flow, including client launch to exit, both outside and inside gameplay
  • Produce wireframes for player interfaces while collaborating closely with design, art, and engineering stakeholders
  • Implement a cohesive, consistent, and intuitive user experience using Blueprints and UMG

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a design role
  • One or more shipped titles as a UI/UX designer
  • Strong theoretical foundation in UX and accessibility principles
  • Proficiency with Figma or an equivalent design tool
  • Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, especially Blueprints, UMG, and View Model
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Passion for games, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to collaborate

Salary: USD 107,093 - 198,887 per year.
