Web Designer - Front End Designer

Avallo Web Development is hiring a front end designer/developer to join its small web design team in Golden Valley, MN. This onsite role centers on converting mockups into functional, living websites, developing web designs and graphics, and working closely with clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
• Maintain flexibility when project requirements change.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality output across design and front end tasks.
• Share ideas and contribute design artwork with a collaborative working style.
• Apply creative thinking to conceptualize new design directions and approaches.
• Conceptualize and create web designs and graphic elements.
• Use basic design principles for layout, including design hierarchy and typography.
• Transform website mockups into living websites using multiple CMS approaches with HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Interest in advancing skills in HTML, CSS, and LESS.
• Experience with TWIG and LESS.
• Basic experience in graphic design and working in Figma and/or Adobe Suite.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Detail-oriented, professional, and organized work habits.
• Training at the Golden Valley Office.
