Web Designer / Developer
Job Description
Comentum Corp is seeking an experienced creative Web Designer/Developer to support design and front-end build work for mobile and web applications. This role is based onsite in the San Diego, CA office and is part time.
Responsibilities
- Produce creative, original designs with strong usability and inventive marketing concepts.
- Create conceptual projects, including infographics.
- Develop animation concepts that will be implemented using jQuery animations.
- Hand code HTML.
- Create and manage style sheets.
- Build email advertising using email HTML requirements and formatting.
- Follow through on work with attention to detail.
- Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Multitask as project needs require.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of web and mobile design and development experience, including HTML and CSS (excluding school projects).
- Ability to produce creative and original design with good usability and inventive marketing concepts.
- Ability to create conceptual projects, such as infographics.
- Ability to create animation concepts used in jQuery animations (jQuery experience is not required).
- Advanced or expert proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as HTML and CSS.
- Ability to hand code HTML.
- Ability to create and manage style sheets.
- Ability to create email advertising using email HTML requirements and formatting.
- Strong ability to follow through with attention to detail.
- Writing skills with proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Print experience is a plus.
- Willingness to multitask.
