Job Description

The Web Designer will craft desktop and mobile user interfaces along with print collateral, contributing to a cross-functional team. The role offers the option to work remotely or from the Iowa City office, with location based in Coralville, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Design and help build both desktop and mobile products as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Contribute to complex interfaces that require strategic thinking and planning.
  • Design applications and products intended for use by millions of students, parents, and high school counselors.
  • Create print designs for brochures, mailers, and other collateral as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience designing for consumer-facing web products and services
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of usability, user experience and user interface design
  • Knowledge of ADA regulations for web design
  • Ability to produce print designs and other print production deliverables
  • Mobile design experience is a big plus
