Visual Design Manager role at Accenture Song (Design & Digital Products) based onsite in Saint Petersburg, FL.
Responsibilities
- Lead the visual design direction on engagements (internal or clients) from concept through delivery, with accountability for design quality, aesthetic cohesion, and adherence to project timelines.
- Translate abstract briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into clear, compelling visual languages as a conceptual thinker.
- Set and defend a high visual craft standard directing the creation of brand identities, design systems, motion, typography, illustration, and digital experiences.
- Balance vision with hands-on work: define the creative direction while shaping key design decisions and producing high-quality output alongside your team.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, modeling how these tools can augment, not replace, creative thinking.
- Serve as a leading creative voice in client discussions, translating visual rationale into strategic narratives to guide high‑pressure decisions.
- Document how AI changes visual design workflows and quantify its impact on delivery quality and team performance to evolve practice.
- Contribute to proposals, create case studies, and translate project learnings into clear thought leadership showcasing visual design capabilities.
- Identify and shape new creative opportunities with existing clients, partnering with account leads to build a compelling point of view around brand, design system, or experience challenges.
- Manage, support, and mentor team members, helping them grow their visual craft, build confidence, navigate challenges, and evolve as designers.
- Be an engaged member of the Visual Design craft, sharing methods, references, and project outcomes to contribute to the discipline’s evolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in Visual Design spanning a range of industries, brand types, platforms, and visual contexts
- 4+ years
- Leading visual design engagements end-to-end, from creative concepting and visual strategy through to production-ready delivery
- Directing the creation of brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI that demonstrate a strong and consistent visual voice
- Producing and directing high-fidelity visual work with exceptional attention to detail, including pixel-perfect deliverables and developer-ready specifications
- 3+ years
- Directly managing or coaching visual designers, developing contributors into stronger, more independent practitioners
- Working in agile and cross-functional environments, collaborating with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists to deliver cohesive experiences
- Delivering high-caliber visual design work shipped at scale, solving complex product or brand challenges, and driving measurable impact across customer experiences and business goals
- Experience in ground visual design decisions with a deep understanding of UX, ensuring visuals guide users intuitively while expressing a coherent brand point of view
- Experience building and contributing to scalable design systems ensuring visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels
- Experience embedding AI tools and workflows into visual design practices from concept generation to rapid iteration
- Recent hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Claude Design and relevant motion/illustration/AI design tools
- Utilizing facilitation skills and creative presence to present visual strategy and design rationale to senior client stakeholders and guide decisions under pressure
