Job Description

Visual Design Manager role at Accenture Song (Design & Digital Products) based onsite in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the visual design direction on engagements (internal or clients) from concept through delivery, with accountability for design quality, aesthetic cohesion, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Translate abstract briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into clear, compelling visual languages as a conceptual thinker.
  • Set and defend a high visual craft standard directing the creation of brand identities, design systems, motion, typography, illustration, and digital experiences.
  • Balance vision with hands-on work: define the creative direction while shaping key design decisions and producing high-quality output alongside your team.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, modeling how these tools can augment, not replace, creative thinking.
  • Serve as a leading creative voice in client discussions, translating visual rationale into strategic narratives to guide high‑pressure decisions.
  • Document how AI changes visual design workflows and quantify its impact on delivery quality and team performance to evolve practice.
  • Contribute to proposals, create case studies, and translate project learnings into clear thought leadership showcasing visual design capabilities.
  • Identify and shape new creative opportunities with existing clients, partnering with account leads to build a compelling point of view around brand, design system, or experience challenges.
  • Manage, support, and mentor team members, helping them grow their visual craft, build confidence, navigate challenges, and evolve as designers.
  • Be an engaged member of the Visual Design craft, sharing methods, references, and project outcomes to contribute to the discipline’s evolution.
