Job Description

The Visual Design Coordinator supports Savant Wealth Management's brand experience across digital, print, and internal communications. Based in Rockford, IL with hybrid work arrangements, the role translates complex financial concepts into clear, visually engaging stories within a collaborative marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage print materials
  • Develop and maintain digital assets
  • Design presentation decks and support internal communications
  • Produce event materials and promotional items
  • Translate complex financial or technical concepts into clear, visually engaging content
  • Oversee multiple design projects to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Organize and maintain design files in the company digital asset management system
  • Develop templates and toolkits to scale the design system and maintain it firm-wide
  • Partner with marketing to plan and execute campaigns aligned with the brand strategy
  • Collaborate with design teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure consistent brand across channels
  • Uphold brand standards by reviewing materials across departments and refining guidelines as needed
  • Support brand awareness efforts with the Brand Manager through campaigns and initiatives
  • Conduct market research and audits to understand customer perceptions and opportunities to strengthen the brand

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Brand Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience spanning marketing, brand management, and graphic design, with hands-on design execution; in-house or agency experience preferred
  • Experience operating within an established brand system and contributing to its evolution
  • Proven track record in developing and executing marketing campaigns aligned with brand strategy
  • Project management experience leading multiple initiatives from concept to completion, delivering on time and within scope
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling campaigns and creative direction
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint is a plus
  • Strong creative thinking, visual design, typography, and layout skills
  • Understanding of print production processes and file preparation
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and brand management
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms
  • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams and multiple partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize deadlines, and deliver high-quality work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail

Our Total Rewards

Salary range for this role is 65,000 to 85,000 USD annually, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and location.
