Job Description
Visual Design Associate Manager in Accenture Song’s Design & Digital Products practice, contributing to visual design direction, design systems, and production across engagements while mentoring junior teammates and embracing AI-enabled workflows.
Responsibilities
- Shape visual design direction on engagements from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, aesthetic cohesion, and on‑time milestones.
- Translate briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into concept-driven visuals, with growing ability to defend an original visual point of view.
- Deliver high‑quality work across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital experiences with precise craft and attention to detail.
- Own your workstream, make deliberate design decisions, and produce production‑ready outputs with minimal redirection.
- Leverage AI tools in your workflow to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, contributing to the team’s evolving AI‑enabled ways of working.
- Confidently participate in client and stakeholder conversations, clearly communicating design rationale and building trust as a creative voice.
- Document and share how AI tooling changes your workflow, contributing to the practice’s evolving understanding of AI‑enabled visual design.
- Support proposals and case studies by contributing project work, process notes, and design narratives that highlight visual design capabilities.
- Monitor internal and client needs, flagging opportunities for deeper work or expanded scope to your lead.
- Mentor junior team members informally, sharing feedback, references, and practices that help them grow their visual craft.
- Actively participate in the Visual Design Craft community, contributing resources, discussions, and ongoing discipline development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Visual Design experience across multiple industries, brand types, platforms, and visual contexts.
- End-to-end contribution to visual design engagements, from creative concepting and visual strategy through to production‑ready delivery.
- Delivery of brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI with a strong and developing visual voice.
- High‑fidelity visual work with meticulous attention to detail, including pixel‑perfect deliverables and developer‑ready specifications.
- Experience providing feedback and informal guidance to junior designers, helping others develop their craft and creative confidence.
- Experience working in agile and cross‑functional environments, collaborating with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists to deliver cohesive experiences.
- Solid grounding in UX principles that informs visual design decisions and expresses a coherent brand point of view.
- Experience contributing to scalable design systems that ensure visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels.
- Comfort using AI tools in visual design from concept generation to rapid iteration, with openness to evolving AI‑enabled workflows.
- Recent hands‑on use of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant motion, illustration, or AI design tools.
- Strong communication skills and experience developing client presence; ability to present design rationale and participate in creative discussions with stakeholders.
