UI/UX Website Designer
Job Description
Storm Brain is seeking a UI/UX Website Designer to lead the full design lifecycle for client projects, spanning identity, collateral, web, and campaigns. The role partners with stakeholders to deliver strategic, bold, and user-focused designs that drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Help identify strategic design solutions for client challenges, anchored in the underlying rationale.
- Proactively address design implementation challenges within client projects.
- Collaborate with developers and content strategists to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
- Present ideas and concepts clearly to teammates and clients with confidence.
- Seek regular feedback to keep the design strategy aligned with project stakeholders.
- Contribute to establishing processes and procedures that boost productivity across Storm Brain's design workflow.
- Manage assigned design tasks from concept through delivery, including presenting designs, assigning to development, and QA during implementation and launch.
- Approach projects with strategic, creative thinking and problem solving.
- Provide thoughtful design solutions after analyzing the problem and audience.
- Translate client requests into functional, original designs while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Create effective and visually appealing designs across media including web, interactive, print, and mixed media.
- Apply knowledge of use-cases, user flows, and information architecture throughout design development.
- Plan and execute redesigns and new concept projects from start to finish.
- Prioritize multiple projects while staying organized, meticulous, and motivated.
- Stay informed about current design trends and emerging technologies.
- Maintain proficiency in design tools including Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch, and Edge Suite.
- Take initiative to learn and grow as a designer and teammate.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in interactive/digital agencies or visual design, or equivalent work experience.
- Passion for creating clean, usable designs that resonate with users and the ability to identify appropriate designs for each client.
- Excellent UX/UI design skills with a strong focus on typography and overall design quality.
- Expertise with industry-standard design software packages (Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Sketch).
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS; front-end development is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience building brand systems (identity and/or web).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand client needs and the intended audience.
- Flexibility with schedule to meet client commitments.
