Job Description

CACI is seeking a UI/UX Web Developer in Bethesda, MD to prototype integrated web applications, deliver secure user-centered experiences, and build on SharePoint capabilities. The position focuses on UI/UX design, dashboard development, and compliance with accessibility standards.

Location

Bethesda, MD (onsite). The role requires remaining on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.

Salary Range

The proposed salary range for this position is USD 103,800 - 218,100 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop SharePoint solutions from OOTB to custom web applications and UX/UI across 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, Online, and O365, including work with large lists and libraries, permissions, and site structures, as well as custom workflows and Microsoft best practices.
  • Design and implement intuitive, user-centered UI/UX for web applications aligned with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, then iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize concepts and support stakeholder approval.
  • Integrate and develop multiple data sources to deliver customized dashboards for senior management and government clients.
  • Use programming and scripting methods including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Create secure application systems utilizing IC or DoD security guidelines.
  • Use DevOps tooling, including a version control system.
  • Lead with software testing, documentation, and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to support cohesive delivery.
  • Ensure web applications are responsive and deliver an optimal viewing experience across devices and browsers.
  • Adhere to WCAG guidelines to support 508 compliance across all web development projects.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree: 2 additional years of experience with an AA/AS, or 4 additional years with a HS diploma.
  • TS/SCI with Poly Clearance is required.
  • Experience with ITIL framework, high availability, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and SSRS Report Designer.
  • Knowledge of PHP applications including WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal.
  • Experience with 508 compliance.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations.
  • Website design experience.
  • Ability to establish operational plans for a technical area.
  • Experience developing and implementing innovative products, processes, standards, or operational plans informed by research and best-practice integration to support functional results.
  • Experience communicating with executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with user-centered design processes and usability testing.

  • Knowledge of developing Azure or AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience with SQL and mySQL.
  • Portfolio of UI/UX design work showcasing a variety of projects and design skills.
