Job Description

HCLTech invites a Senior UI/UX Technical Architect to join onsite in Santa Clara, CA. This role leads end-to-end product design for large enterprise SaaS and AI-assisted workflows, spanning UX strategy to pixel-level execution, and partners with engineering to bring designs to life. Compensation ranges from USD 131,000 to 193,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering to bring designs to life.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields.
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
  • Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency).
  • 10+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows thinking, tradeoffs, and impact not just the final screens.
  • A deep love for visual craft. You sweat typography, spacing, and polish because you know that separates good from memorable.
  • Fluent across the full design spectrum from broad user journey to micro-interaction, from UX strategy to pixel-level execution.
  • Thrives turning complex enterprise problems into simple, enjoyable experiences for B2B users.
  • Experience with large enterprise SaaS products with complex data, workflow, or platform problems; comfortable in deep, ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows and platform features; you understand how to make AI feel useful and trustworthy, not overwhelming.
  • Strong communicator who provides updates proactively, flags risks early, and keeps dependent teams unblocked.
  • Collaborative engineering and product partner who sees engineering handoff as the start of design realization and stays engaged through implementation, open to feedback, and focused on improving the work.
