UI/UX Designer

NomadicML is seeking a UI/UX Designer to shape the end-to-end experience and visual language of its spatial intelligence platform for autonomous vehicles and robotics. This onsite role in Austin, TX brings together product, marketing, and brand work to translate complex spatial concepts into intuitive interfaces used by enterprise engineers. The position emphasizes collaborative design, rapid prototyping, and a cohesive visual system that scales with the product and company growth.

Responsibilities

• UX UI Design: design the complete user journey of NomadicML's digital platform, including flows for video upload, edge case discovery, search, review tools, and data export. translate spatial intelligence concepts into clear, usable interfaces for enterprise engineers.
• Website & Marketing: craft landing pages, product demos, and marketing assets that communicate capabilities to technical buyers. collaborate with marketing to bring campaigns to life across channels.
• Prototyping & Iteration: quickly explore visual concepts in Figma and turn them into web-native experiences. test usability and functionality across platforms and web interfaces, and build interactive prototypes to convey ideas to engineering.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with engineers to deliver pixel-perfect implementations and make pragmatic trade-offs when needed. align with marketing to maintain brand coherence across touchpoints.
• Digital Design Systems: design and maintain a scalable design system that ensures a cohesive experience as the product evolves.
• Visual Identity: lead and evolve NomadicML's visual identity, establishing guidelines to ensure consistency across product, web, marketing, and sales materials with a distinctive design aesthetic.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools; comfortable prototyping interactive experiences.
• Strong background in graphic design and brand development, with the ability to establish and maintain visual identity systems.
• A portfolio demonstrating visual taste and user-centered thinking across digital design, UI, UX, branding, and web design.
• Bias toward action: you ship work, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate design rationale to engineers, marketers, and founders.
