Job Description

This onsite role based in New York, NY sits within JPMorgan Chase’s Private Bank Digital team, focusing on advisor-facing wealth planning and investment experiences. The Senior Product Designer will shape product direction and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver clear, compliant, and value-driven design outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Create UX and UI designs for advisor-facing investment experiences, translating complex investment concepts and workflows into intuitive, compliant interfaces.
  • Own the design of key investment journeys within wealth planning, ensuring clarity and impact at critical decision points.
  • Leverage existing design systems while contributing to the development of new and evolving systems to maintain consistency, scalability, and innovation across digital products.
  • Collaborate with multiple product managers and cross-functional teams to implement design solutions aligned with business goals and delivering cohesive experiences.
  • Present design decisions to senior stakeholders and leadership with clear rationale and evidence.
  • Champion user-centered design, accessibility, and inclusive practices to maximize product value for diverse users.
  • Apply AI, emerging technologies, and industry trends to design practices, keeping digital finance products at the forefront.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years in product or experience design, with a proven track record of shipping and scaling digital products.
  • Experience designing in regulated, data-rich environments; ability to translate complexity into clarity without compromising rigor.
  • Strong experience designing secure, authenticated digital products, ideally investment products or advisor investing workflows in wealth management.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence and align with senior partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, with experience partnering with multiple product managers and engaging with product leadership at the highest level.
  • Expertise in Figma and hands-on usability testing.
  • Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate craft, rapid prototyping, and collaboration with product and technology partners.

Compensation

Base salary range: USD 142,500 - 205,000 per year.
