Senior Product Designer

Harvey is hiring a Senior Product Designer in New York, NY (hybrid) to help shape high-quality product experiences from idea to launch. This role blends strong product design craft with thoughtful, user-centered integration of AI. You will manage multiple projects, partner across teams, and help raise the design bar through intentional, end-to-end decision-making.

Compensation for this full-time role is USD 167,500 - 251,300 per year, with equity and a bonus. You are also eligible to participate in the equity plan and benefits program.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design of end-to-end product experiences, moving from initial concept through polished execution.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to translate business objectives into user-centered designs.
• Shape and refine the design system to maintain a cohesive and scalable visual language across the product.
• Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities, then apply insights to guide design decisions.
• Create prototypes to explore and validate new features, workflows, and interactions.
• Champion a high design bar, supporting the team with thoughtful, intentional decisions at every step.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience designing products in a fast-paced environment, with a portfolio demonstrating your best work.
• The ability to tackle complex challenges and turn them into simple, intuitive experiences.
• Deep understanding of design systems, with strong visual and interaction design craft.
• Experience conducting user research and applying findings to design decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts and rationale.
