Senior Product Designer
Job Description
Everlaw is seeking a Senior Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of product design for the Everlaw platform. In this role, you will create AI-powered, human-centered experiences that support complex legal and investigative document review workflows, working closely with Product Management and Engineering.
Role Overview
As a Senior Product Designer, you will turn complex, high-stakes legal workflows into intuitive product experiences for the Everlaw platform. You will translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear interaction patterns and visual designs that help legal teams navigate critical evidence with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design AI-powered experiences that help legal and investigative teams navigate complex document review workflows and accelerate insight generation.
- Translate complex, unstructured problems into scalable, intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Partner with Product Management and User Research to support strategic decisions, prioritization, and product roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with Engineering to deliver polished visual and interaction designs that communicate hierarchy, intent, and platform capabilities.
- Contribute to and help evangelize Bluebook, Everlaw’s design system, while raising the quality bar through design critique and mentoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience shipping product features, including at least 3 years designing complex B2B SaaS workflows.
- A strong portfolio showing product thinking, interaction design, and visual design for ambiguous problem spaces.
- Proven experience owning end-to-end design work from initial research through post-launch evaluation and iteration.
- Effective communication and storytelling skills to articulate design rationale and build alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
- A BA/BS degree in graphic design, HCI, design communication, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions. Everlaw is not sponsoring F-1 visas, including OPT, for this role.
Compensation & Total Rewards
The expected salary range is $170,000–$215,000 per year. Final salary depends on the candidate’s experience and skills, and the base pay range is subject to change. This role is also eligible for equity and the benefits outlined below.

Scheduling & Location
This is a full-time, exempt position based in the Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th, with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.
