Senior Art Director

OUTFRONT media is looking for a Senior Art Director to help bring high-impact out-of-home advertising to life for local markets in Orlando, Florida. In this onsite role, you will design and prepare artwork and art mechanicals, partner with sales and account teams, and support clients while helping maintain creative integrity across campaigns.

Your role

You will create effective out-of-home ads that align with client objectives and the needs of prospective clients. Along the way, you will help educate sales staff and clients on what makes outdoor advertising legible and, at times, inspiring. Your work includes ad design that may involve copy writing, image sourcing and/or illustration, followed by the production of art mechanicals once the creative is approved and ready to build.

You will also assist clients who provide their own creative for various reasons. When needed, you will manage and create internal sales materials that follow the look and feel of OUTFRONT Media design, with approval from the Creative Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide contracted and speculative art to support sales initiatives.
• Produce print-ready mechanicals to fulfill local contracts.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and clients to develop engaging ads.
• Assist with, and/or manage, traffic of creative jobs when required.
• Help educate and uphold the creative integrity of your market.
• Attend meetings to present artwork to clients.
• Take the lead on creative projects when needed.
• Support and demonstrate behavior consistent with the sales and service philosophy of OUTFRONT Media.
• Act with diplomacy as a representative of the Sales Department.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• College education in design, communications, and art.
• Knowledge of advertising design concepts and executions for out-of-home and its unique challenges.
• Understanding of a team environment, with the ability to thrive within it, and in some cases lead or help create that environment.
• Experience and proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Quark Xpress.
