Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect
Job Description
Accenture's Salesforce Business Group seeks a seasoned UI/UX Design Architect to lead the end-to-end design of Salesforce implementations. This manager-level role situated onsite in Boston focuses on translating business requirements into practical Salesforce solutions while bridging the gap between stakeholders and the delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to end-to-end solution design for Salesforce deployments, guiding architecture decisions across configuration, data modeling, and integration under the mentorship of a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- Translate business needs into Salesforce solution options, participating in design sessions and requirement workshops with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical staff, balancing functional needs with platform capabilities and stepping into functional or technical roles as design and requirements demand.
- Create and maintain solution documentation, including solution design documents (SDDs), data flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks, keeping documents current as designs evolve.
- Identify design gaps, cross-workstream dependencies, and potential risks; escalate as needed and contribute to resolution discussions.
- Review configuration and development work to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and client standards, guided by senior team members.
- Support estimation and scoping activities during pursuit and early delivery, contributing to technical and functional sections of proposals.
- Actively pursue Salesforce certifications relevant to the SA career path and contribute to practice development through documentation of lessons learned and reusable assets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce experience, including Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and platform capabilities (declarative vs custom).
- Minimum of 5 years of UX design experience, including human-centered design, user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and iterative design.
- Minimum of 2 years of UI and interaction design experience, with wireframing, prototyping, and visual design using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Minimum of 2 years of enterprise workflow design experience, with the ability to simplify complex CRM workflows and design end-to-end user journeys.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; if using an Associate’s Degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.

Compensation
Annual salary range: USD 87,400 - 266,300 per year.
