Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect
Job Description
Accenture's Salesforce Business Group is expanding its design leadership to deliver end-to-end Salesforce deployments. This onsite Nashville role blends business strategy with hands-on design, translating needs into practical Salesforce designs, bridging gaps between stakeholders and the technical team, and maintaining comprehensive design documentation while contributing to proposals and practice development.
Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end Salesforce deployments, shaping architecture decisions across configuration, data models, and integrations under guidance from a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce solution options, participating in design sessions and requirement workshops with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, aligning business needs with platform capabilities; may take on a functional role when shaping requirements or a technical role when grounding design decisions.
- Create and maintain solution documentation including solution design documents (SDDs), data flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks, keeping materials current as designs evolve.
- Identify design gaps, cross-workstream dependencies, and potential risks; escalate where needed and contribute to resolution discussions.
- Review configuration and development work to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and client standards, guided by senior team members.
- Support estimation and scoping during pursuit and early delivery phases, contributing to technical and functional sections of proposals.
- Pursue Salesforce certifications aligned with the Solution Architect career path and contribute to practice development by documenting lessons learned and reusable assets.
- Travel may be required; travel percentage will vary based on business needs and client requirements.
Requirements
- At least five years of Salesforce experience, including Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and platform capabilities (declarative and custom).
- At least five years of UX design experience, emphasizing human-centered design, user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and iterative design.
- At least two years of UI and interaction design experience, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design using Figma or Adobe XD.
- At least two years of enterprise workflow design experience, with the ability to simplify complex CRM workflows and design efficient end-to-end user journeys.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if using an Associate’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.
