Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect
Job Description
Manager-level Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect in Accenture’s Salesforce Business Group, focusing on end-to-end solution design and translating business requirements into Salesforce options while contributing to architecture decisions.
Location: Culver City, California (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end Salesforce solution design, influencing architecture decisions across functional configuration, data model, and integration under the guidance of a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce solution options, participating in design sessions and requirement workshops with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical staff, aligning business needs with Salesforce capabilities; ready to contribute in functional or technical roles as needed.
- Create and maintain solution documentation including solution design documents, data flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks, keeping documentation current as designs evolve.
- Identify design gaps, cross-workstream dependencies, and potential risks; escalate as needed and participate in resolution discussions.
- Review configuration and development work to ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices and client-specific standards, guided by senior team members.
- Aid in estimation and scoping during pursuit and early delivery phases, contributing to technical and functional proposal sections.
- Pursue Salesforce certifications relevant to the SA career path and contribute to practice development through documenting lessons learned and reusable assets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce experience, including Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and platform capabilities (declarative vs custom).
- Minimum of 5 years of UX design experience, covering human-centered design, user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and iterative design.
- Minimum of 2 years of UI and interaction design experience, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Minimum of 2 years of enterprise workflow design experience, with the ability to simplify complex CRM workflows and design end-to-end user journeys.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if holding an Associate’s Degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
