Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end solution design for Salesforce deployments and contribute to architectural decisions across configuration, data structures, and integrations under the guidance of a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- Translate business needs into Salesforce solution options, participating in design sessions and requirement workshops with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, adapting between functional and technical perspectives as requirements evolve and design decisions crystallize.
- Develop and maintain solution documentation, including solution design documents (SDDs), data flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks, keeping documentation aligned with design progress.
- Identify design gaps, cross-workstream dependencies, and risks; escalate appropriately and participate in resolution discussions.
- Review configuration and development work to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and client standards, with guidance from senior teammates.
- Assist with estimation and scoping during pursuit and early delivery phases, contributing to the technical and functional sections of proposals.
- Pursue Salesforce certifications relevant to the SA career path and contribute to practice development by documenting lessons learned and reusable assets.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce experience, including Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and platform capabilities (declarative vs custom).
- Minimum 5 years of User Experience (UX) design experience, covering human-centered design, user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and iterative design.
- Minimum 2 years of UI and interaction design experience, with wireframing, prototyping, and visual design using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Minimum 2 years of enterprise workflow design experience, capable of simplifying complex CRM workflows and designing efficient end-to-end user journeys.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If holding an Associate’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.

- Colorado: $94,400 to $230,000
- District of Columbia: $100,500 to $245,000
