Job Description

UNIS, LLC is seeking a Product Designer in Buena Park, CA to take ownership of important areas across its web and mobile applications. This role focuses on designing new features and improving existing product surfaces, with close collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Research, and the use of AI tooling to accelerate research, concepting, and prototyping.

USD 90,000 - 95,000 per year

Role Summary

The Product Designer will lead end-to-end design work for new functionality and ongoing enhancements across product areas. The position emphasizes measurable outcomes after release, using customer feedback, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions. AI tools will be incorporated into the workflow to speed up research synthesis, early concepts, and prototyping, with the designer responsible for reviewing and refining all outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design for new features across web and mobile by creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
  • Own existing product areas and improve them over time by addressing usability issues and updating older designs.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and balance new feature work with product improvements.
  • Guide design decisions and evaluate impact after release using customer feedback, usability testing, and analytics.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, early concepts, and prototyping, while personally reviewing and refining all delivered work.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product design, including launching new features and improving existing web or mobile applications.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your process, decision-making, and results.
  • Strong interaction, visual, and accessibility skills, with advanced Figma experience.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in your design workflow, including judgment to determine when outputs need additional work.
  • Experience working on cross-functional agile teams, with strong communication skills to explain design decisions.
  • Must be able to speak Chinese fluently.

  • Experience using AI prototyping or code-based tools (such as Figma Make, v0, or Cursor) to test ideas quickly.
