Product Designer
Job Description
PrizePicks is hiring a Product Designer to own the GamePlay Live Sweat and Tracking experience. In this onsite role in Atlanta, GA, you will lead end-to-end design delivery for live interfaces, partnering across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Social Design to raise the bar for craft and coherence.
The work centers on Live Tracking surfaces where timing, transitions, and detail make the difference between good and premium. You will apply deep understanding of the underlying mechanics and the business drivers to shape systems, not just screens, while using fast iteration to bring real-time experiences to life.
What you’ll do
- Own the full design lifecycle in the Live Tracking domain, from requirements gathering through ship and post-launch iteration.
- Develop a strong grasp of the mechanics beneath the surface and the business drivers behind them, shaping the systems themselves and the experience they enable.
- Prototype at high fidelity and execute at the pixel level, with special attention to transitions, timing, and visual and interaction details.
- Use AI, rapid prototyping, and iterative design to conceptualize and launch real-time surfaces that move as fast as the game does.
- Maintain quality through consistent critique, active contribution to design systems, and craft standards across every visual and interaction detail in the domain.
- Build strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Social Design to keep business goals aligned with a tracking experience that stays coherent for members.
What you bring
- 4+ years of product design experience, backed by a portfolio showing mastery in visual craft, interaction design, and strategic thinking, with the ability to design emotionally engaging digital experiences.
- Strong command of visual design principles including typography, layout, and color theory, plus a passion for motion and micro-interactions that improve usability and create delight, grounded in a pixel-perfect mindset.
- Proven ability to translate abstract business goals and user needs into a clear design vision and a pragmatic phased execution plan from MVP to future-state iterations, including the ability to make simple experiences from complex, interconnected systems.
- Ability to understand user motivations and behaviors, treating usability and accessibility as core design principles, and using research, analytics, and customer insights to deepen customer understanding.
- Foundational understanding of frontend technologies and comfort enabling seamless collaboration and handoff with engineering partners, including using AI to bridge gaps and create functional prototypes and demos.
- Genuine interest in sports and the Daily Fantasy and prediction markets space, including watching games and forming opinions about what live sports products get right and where they fall short.
Benefits
- Company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Annual bonus
- Flexible PTO to support work/life balance (2 weeks strongly encouraged)
- Generous paid leave programs, including 16-week paid parental leave and disability benefits
- Workplace flexibility and modern work schedules focused on getting the job done, not hours clocked
- Company-wide in-person events and team outings
- Lifestyle enhancement program
- Company equipment provided (Windows & Mac options)
- Annual performance reviews with opportunities for growth and career development
What makes you stand out
- Experience leading B2C projects with a mobile-first design mentality.
- Experience supporting gaming, Daily Fantasy Sports, prediction markets, or social product design projects.
