Product Designer
Job Description
LangChain is looking for a Product Designer to help shape the experience for developers building with its platform. You will contribute across core product touchpoints, from the journey that starts at signup to day-to-day usage and deeper workflows such as debugging, evaluation, and observability.
This is an onsite role based in New York, NY. The team is focused on turning real developer behavior into design decisions, shipping polished work, and partnering closely with product and engineering to move quickly.
What you’ll do
- Develop a deep understanding of how developers actually use LangChain through interviews and feedback sessions, ensuring design decisions reflect real behavior and user needs
- Own the end-to-end design arc for features, from early concepts to shipped, refined experiences
- Work across multiple product areas and design initiatives as priorities shift
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other key stakeholders to deliver new features efficiently
What you bring
- 3+ years of fullstack product design experience, ideally supporting developer tools, AI, or complex SaaS products
- A strong eye for detail with solid grounding in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual craft
- Proven experience solving challenging interaction design problems, especially those involving dense technical data
- Data-driven decision making, including comfort driving user research with internal stakeholders and external customers, then applying findings to designs
- Strong ownership and initiative across tasks from start to finish
- Technical acumen that supports effective collaboration with engineers to create designs that are both high-quality and feasible
- Start-up DNA, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly dynamic environments
Compensation and location
- Location: Onsite in New York, NY
- Annual salary range: $145,000-$185,000
