Job Description

This Motion Designer role offers a flexible remote arrangement with alignment to PST/MST and reports to the Las Vegas based Director of Art & Design. You will help build and maintain a cohesive motion design system across multiple brands, supported by a culture that values clear feedback, continuous improvement, and measurable impact. Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the motion design language for each brand (Alex, Leila, Sharran, ACQ), including timing, easing, color, and typographic animation standards
- Build and manage template libraries for animated lower thirds, title cards, social graphics, bumpers, and episodic title treatments in After Effects
- Ensure motion consistency across all output so every asset is identifiable with its brand
- Document motion standards in brand guides and animation style references
- Collaborate with the broader media team to ensure cohesion between motion assets, captured footage, and visual identity guidelines
- Create motion graphics, animated text treatments, kinetic typography, and branded transitions for long-form YouTube content and social clips
- Design and animate episodic opens, closes, chapter cards, and segment transitions to elevate production value
- Build motion assets that integrate cleanly into Premiere Pro timelines with minimal revisions
- Contribute to a shared motion asset library that accelerates post-production output
- Design and animate platform-native motion assets for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube
- Produce short-form motion pieces optimized for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok
- Maintain awareness of platform-specific motion specs, aspect ratios, and safe zones for pixel-perfect delivery
- Keep an organized, tagged, and searchable motion asset library with consistent naming and version control
- Deliver assets in correct formats, frame rates, resolutions, and codecs for each use case
- Leverage AI tools and motion automation to increase output speed without compromising quality
- Identify and correct motion inconsistencies or brand misalignments before they reach post-production
- Use performance data to inform motion design decisions in addition to aesthetic considerations
- Continuously raise the bar for animation quality and production value
Requirements
- 4+ years of motion design experience in a media, agency, or content production environment
- A portfolio demonstrating strong motion craft, typographic animation, and high-volume output
- Expert-level proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro; strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Deep understanding of animation principles including timing, easing, anticipation, and visual hierarchy in motion
- Experience designing and animating lower thirds, title treatments, bumpers, and episodic graphics for video content
- Familiarity with platform-specific motion requirements across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
- Proficiency with After Effects expressions and/or scripting (GSAP, ExtendScript)
- Systems-oriented mindset; you build animation templates and repeatable processes rather than one-offs
- Comfort working within structured production environments (Monday.com, shared asset libraries, Frame.io, batch production calendars)
- Familiarity with AI motion and design tools (Hera, RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent) and a drive to integrate them into daily workflows
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines without quality degradation

Location
Las Vegas, NV with remote work options. Relocation support is available, and light travel may be required.
Compensation
Base salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year. The range reflects multiple levels applicable to the role, with final salary determined by level, relevant experience, skills, and expertise. This range represents base pay only; benefits are in addition.
