Job Description
This onsite role in Aurora, Colorado focuses on designing and building modern web interfaces for mission-critical applications, blending front-end development with user-centered design to deliver intuitive, responsive experiences.
Role Overview
DeNOVO Solutions seeks a mid-level UI/UX Developer to design, develop, and refine front-end interfaces for mission-critical applications. The position combines practical coding with user-centered design to create responsive, high-performing experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
- Design and implement user interfaces with modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into functional and visually engaging designs.
- Ensure responsiveness, performance, and usability across devices and platforms.
- Contribute to Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Assist in testing and debugging UI components to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Two (2) to five (5) years of practical software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

What You Bring To The Table
- Experience developing user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS
- Familiarity with Vue.js, React, and/or Angular
- Experience working in collaborative team environments
- Strong understanding of front-end development best practices and responsive design
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Vitest and end-to-end testing tools like Cypress (preferably)
- Experience using Git and Jira in a development workflow (preferably)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably)
- Experience with web visualization frameworks such as D3.js or Cesium (preferably)
- Experience with SCSS and Bootstrap (preferably)
- Knowledge of observer design patterns using RxJS or similar libraries (preferably)
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and experience with Sketch, Figma, or equivalent tools (preferably)
Salary Range
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience
