Junior Product Designer (Consumer Products)

Hamee US Corp is seeking a Junior Product Designer to help shape innovative consumer products across its brand portfolio. Based onsite in Torrance, CA, you will partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to move concepts from idea to production, focusing on consumer goods, cosmetics, and character-driven items for direct-to-consumer channels. This role emphasizes a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate fast-paced development cycles.

Job Details

• Location: Torrance, CA 90501 (onsite)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Support product design and development from concept to production
• Create design proposals, mockups, and presentation materials
• Assist in developing product concepts aligned with brand direction and market trends
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to refine product specifications
• Prepare design files and production-ready artwork for vendors
• Review samples and provide feedback to ensure design quality and consistency
• Conduct market and trend research (consumer products, beauty, toys, etc.)
• Maintain organized design files, documents, and product information
• Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a related field
• Strong interest in consumer products, cosmetics, toys, or lifestyle goods
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Basic understanding of product development and production processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Portfolio of consumer product design
• Bachelor's degree preferred
