iOS Product Designer
Job Description
Photon is building enterprise software experiences and is seeking an iOS Product Designer to help shape how users integrate, navigate, and get value from its product. This onsite role in Washington State focuses on user-centered design leadership within an Agile/Scrum workflow, with opportunities to drive native iOS UX from early research through testing.
What you’ll do
- Lead a comprehensive user-centered design process in an Agile/Scrum environment, partnering closely with Product Managers, engineers, stakeholders, and users.
- Guide the execution of user-centered design best practices, balancing user needs with business goals and technology capabilities.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle, supporting product strategy, requirements gathering, user analysis, design, and user testing.
- Design native iOS mobile application user experiences using research, UX design, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Share research findings and design solutions with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.
- Support design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions by bringing a user-centric perspective.
What you bring
- BA/BS degree required with emphasis in product design, UX design, interactive design, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of the degree.
- 5+ years designing native iOS mobile applications, ideally for enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design best practices for iOS mobile applications.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
