Job Description

Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, based in Reno, NV, invites a Graphic & Motion Designer to join its onsite in-house Creative team. This role offers a fast-paced environment where you will contribute to campaigns, social content, video graphics, digital signage, brand assets, and on-property materials, collaborating across departments to keep visuals aligned with brand strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling visual concepts across print, digital, and video platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to shepherd campaigns from ideation to polished final output.
  • Translate strategic objectives into visually engaging creative across all GSR brands and venues.
  • Design and animate motion graphics for digital signage, broadcast, social media, and in-house video content.
  • Create kinetic typography, lower thirds, transitions, animated logos, and promotional motion assets.
  • Partner with the video team to produce cohesive, high-impact visual storytelling.
  • Design and prepare print collateral including direct mail, signage, menus, posters, and event materials.
  • Create digital assets for web, email, social, and paid media.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels and ensure production-ready accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from marketing, entertainment, food & beverage, and gaming to deliver on-brand creative.
  • Work with external vendors, printers, and production partners to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with precision, organization, and clear communication.
  • Meet attendance requirements to effectively complete responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Additional duties within the scope of the position as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum four years of experience in graphic design or motion design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred.

  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro

Physical Demands

  • While performing duties, constant sitting with occasional standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, and kneeling during shifts.
  • Occasional push/pull of up to 10 lbs.
  • Constant use of both hands with repetitive grasping; constant finger dexterity required.
  • Vision demands include distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
