Job Description

The Graphic & Digital Designer Frontend Web Manager at Spectrum Resorts oversees the creation and management of the company’s creative and digital assets, while providing graphic and web design support to all departments. This onsite role is based in Gulf Shores, Alabama, with a salary range of USD 45,000 to 50,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that concepts align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to program development and planning sessions for campaign strategy and concepts on major projects.
  • Engage in and support the company’s new business activities as assigned.
  • Conceptualize and design print and digital assets for all business entities.
  • Maintain graphic libraries, visual assets, samples, brand standards, and related documentation.
  • Oversee the project file management system.
  • Solicit bids and quotes from vendors for services such as printing and photography.
  • Uphold high graphic design standards and stay current with new techniques and trends in the graphic arts.
  • Review and approve visuals at all stages of production.
  • Support other departments on special projects and graphic design needs.
  • Cultivate relationships with external vendors, media representatives, and other outside resources.
  • Research media opportunities, formats, and associated costs.
  • Deliver final artwork to publications and other media and verify proofs upon receipt.
  • Follow schedules and budget guidelines and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Assist in developing project copy consistent with inbound marketing principles.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of internet marketing, SEO/SEM, e-commerce, and marketing practices and strategies.
  • Proficiency in graphics and video software.
  • Experience with pay per click marketing.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Usability and user experience awareness.
  • Proficiency in blogging and social networking.
  • Experience with e-mail marketing and analytics.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery; frontend web development is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the WordPress CMS is a plus.
