Graphic Design and Media Liaison
Job Description
Under minimal supervision, the Graphic Design and Media Liaison coordinates and creates marketing-ready design, video, and photography to support Billings Clinic marketing and departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, develop, and design graphics and printed materials including brochures, mailers, flyers, educational sheets, newsletters, health information sheets, billboards, web and digital advertising, print advertisements, maps, signs, and premiums
- Provide video production and photography support
- Ensure work complies with corporate identity and brand standards and guidelines
- Serve as a liaison with service-line leadership to deliver marketing support aligned to department goals
- Coordinate placement of traditional and digital media
- Support and model behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic mission, vision, values, code of business conduct, and service expectations; complete all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements
- Maintain competency in organizational, departmental, and outside agency standards related to environment, employee, patient safety, and job performance
- Develop and design original artwork and perform creative execution for marketing projects using layout principles and aesthetic design concepts in accordance with brand identity standards
- Coordinate select advertising development with an advertising agency
- Manage project phases from concept through final product coordination, including vendor bidding and contracting
- Complete a wide variety of graphic design projects, including digital ads, for marketing team members and internal customers based on marketing strategy and organizational initiatives
- Provide consultative support to marketing team members on graphic standards
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with printers, photographers, and vendors for new media opportunities
- Obtain estimates for time, schedule, and costs; approve and authorize expenditures
- Maintain records supporting cost effectiveness and quantity printed
- Manage budget estimates responsibly and keep costs within agreed parameters
- Place print advertising and social media to support marketing strategy and communications execution
- Negotiate competitive and lowest rates when applicable
- Coordinate and ensure timelines for placement are met
- Design banners, posters, signage, and other media for internal and external brand image and strategy
- Video tape, edit, and produce videos for web, TV, and digital use
- Lead photo shoots with professional photographers and capture photos for marketing and internal needs
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational needs
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in graphic arts, communications, marketing, journalism, or other related field
- Three (3) years of experience in design, graphics, print, and video production, including thorough knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
- Knowledge of web-based design
- Equivalent combination of education and experience related to the listed tasks and required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered
Compensation & Employment Details
- Location: Billings, MT (onsite)
- Salary: USD 27 - 34 per hourly
- Starting wage (DOE): $27.69 - $34.61
- Shift: Day
- Employment status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
- Hours per pay period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)
