Forward Deployed Front End Engineer - Autonomous Systems Control

Haxorei is seeking a forward deployed Front End Engineer to support the delivery of full-stack Command and Control (C2) software for autonomous systems across operational and tactical missions. This hybrid role focuses on building, integrating, and deploying autonomy C2 solutions, including work that connects front-end experiences with Palantir and AI/autonomy components.

Role Overview

This position supports the development of mission-critical C2 software for multi-modal autonomous systems. You will build, integrate, deploy, and integrate autonomy C2 solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, including interoperability with Palantir and AI and autonomy services such as sensor and data fusion, agentic decision-making engines, and robotic control systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, integrate, and deploy mission-critical full-stack software solutions for C2 of multi-modal autonomous systems.
• Integrate full-stack Autonomy C2 solutions into the Palantir platform and with AI and autonomy software components, including sensor and data fusion services, agentic decision-making engines, and robotic control systems.
• Operate effectively across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid-cloud environments by addressing deployment, integration, security, and user experience challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning sensing and fusion, artificial intelligence, systems engineering, user experience, and hardware and robotics experts to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience integrating and deploying software to cloud, on-prem, or hybrid environments.
• Strong proficiency in JS/TS, Python, Rust, or Java.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
• Strong integration skills, including experience with software deployment, CI and automation tools, navigating APIs and documentation, networking, security and authentication, and Linux/GNU.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s (or significant relevant work experience) in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
• Ability to travel 25-75%, depending on location and team needs.

Location and Work Policy

Seattle, WA (hybrid). The hybrid work policy also includes Palo Alto, DC, NYC, and Denver. This is a full-time role with work locations in Seattle, Palo Alto, Washington, DC, New York City, NY, and Denver, CO, with hybrid remote work in Seattle, WA 98101.

Compensation, Clearance, and Visa

• Salary: USD 135,000 - 200,000 per year (pay up to $200,000.00 per year).
• Equity: RSUs (details not otherwise specified).
• Visa sponsorship: Not open to any visas (for example, US citizen, Green Card holders are referenced).
• Clearance: Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance is required.
