Customer Service (With Graphic Design Experience)

FastSigns NYU is seeking a Customer Service professional with graphic design experience to act as the first point of contact and produce production-ready signage graphics onsite in New York.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email
• Consult with customers to understand signage and visual communication needs
• Prepare estimates, quotes, and work orders
• Build lasting customer relationships through consistent, exceptional service
• Coordinate projects from initial inquiry through final delivery
• Attend daily team meetings and contribute to business and marketing initiatives
• Create and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Prepare production-ready files for printing, cutting, and fabrication
• Review customer-provided artwork and ensure files meet production requirements
• Create layouts, proofs, illustrations, and signage based on customer specifications
• Communicate with production staff to ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently
• Inspect artwork and production files for quality before output

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service, graphic design, or sign industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (plus)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized approach with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output

Compensation & Schedule

• $20.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 40.0 per week
