CAD Designer

The CAD Designer role supports Warmboard Inc.’s Design and Technical Services team, applying AutoCAD expertise to architectural and construction contexts. This position requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2013 or newer and a collaborative, detail-driven approach to design documentation.

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 20 - 30 per hour.

Location

Scotts Valley, CA (onsite).

Work Setup

On-site, in-person work arrangement. Candidates must already reside in the Santa Cruz County area; relocation assistance is not provided by Warmboard Inc.

Requirements

• AutoCAD experience with a minimum of 2 years on 2013 or newer in an architectural or construction context.
• Construction knowledge and the ability to read plans fluently.
• Architectural engineering experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of teamwork.
• Career-oriented, intellectually curious, ambitious, and self-motivated.
• High level of computer literacy on a PC platform with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Professionalism in communication is essential.
• Candidates must be located in the Santa Cruz County area; relocation is not offered.
