Brand Design Manager
Job Description
Lead brand design strategy and execution for assigned Molson Coors brands in Chicago with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Advise which creative ideas are on-brand and on-brief by blending cultural context, competitive landscape, consumer insights, and business strategy for assigned brands
- Apply design expertise to guide creative assessment and drive aesthetic, effective creative solutions
- Lead the Brand World development process as creative director and long-term brand steward
- Own day-to-day brand asset management, including packaging design and oversight to ensure correct, consistent brand application across consumer touch points
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve design challenges across multiple formats while maintaining brand consistency
- Facilitate open dialogue with teams including Project Management, Sales Planning, Legal, and R&D, plus creative agencies to align budgets, timelines, and resourcing throughout projects
- Partner with Brand Managers to select the most suitable agency based on talent and cost considerations
- Develop the Creative Brief and guide subsequent creative reviews and presentations to ensure solutions are tied to objectives
- Partner with Graphics Specialist to evaluate projects at each stage of production, protecting design intent while accounting for color and substrate limitations
- Identify design development timelines and track progress for all packaging projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of hands-on design experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Emotional intelligence and professional communication
- High collaboration, process management, business partnering skills, and integrity
- Experience in alcohol/beverage or consumer-packaged goods
- Ability to complete complex projects quickly while staying aligned to business priorities
- Track record of building relationships and collaborating to reach outcomes

Pay and Total Rewards
- Salary range: USD 96,600 - 126,700 per year
- Posting salary range plus 15% target short term incentive
