Job Description
Based in New York, NY on-site, the Associate Creative Director, Copy at サイネオス・ヘルス leads voice and messaging for healthcare campaigns across designated brands. This strategic, creative leadership role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver brand-aligned content while guiding copy through regulatory review. The position also involves mentoring writers and shaping how audiences engage with complex medical messaging.
Location: New York, NY (onsite) | Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary custodian of copy for designated brands and campaigns.
- Collaborate with art directors to develop brand concepts and ensure cohesive storytelling across visuals and copy.
- Oversee creation of both long- and short-form content, preserving brand voice, consistency, and compliance with medical/legal review (MLR).
- Work with UX, Technology, and CX teams to align copy with user journeys and platform specifications.
- Provide strategic direction and creative leadership in client meetings and presentations.
- Engage in market research and message testing to refine promotional content.
- Mentor and manage the copywriting team, cultivating a collaborative, inventive environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years in an agency setting, including a minimum of six years leading pharmaceutical copy initiatives.
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and communication abilities.
- Proven track record coordinating cross-functional teams and mentoring creative staff.
- Solid conceptual thinking with a talent for translating complex concepts into engaging narratives.
- In-depth knowledge of social platforms such as X/Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, plus awareness of evolving cultural trends.
- Experience navigating regulatory processes and medical/legal review (MLR).
- Aptitude for rapidly understanding complex medical and technical content and translating it into clear, engaging messaging.
