Job Description
Goldman Sachs’ Wealth Management Design team is seeking an Associate product designer to shape digital experiences for wealth management clients and customers. In this role, you’ll work across the full product design lifecycle, applying human-centered thinking and data-led insights to deliver intuitive, high-impact interfaces.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to end-to-end design across digital channels to deliver world-class digital products and service solutions
- Help uphold and advance the team’s standards for creativity and innovation across digital products
- Use data and insights to identify actionable outcomes and support informed decisions
- Turn complex problems into elegantly simple, intuitive designs with attention to detail
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define the problem, desired outcome, and new opportunities
- Move design projects through discovery, concept, detailed design, and implementation, facilitating progress at each stage
- Produce clear, compelling, cohesive prototypes and presentations that communicate context, priorities, and needs so audiences can follow an informative, intuitive journey
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Science or related fields
- 3+ years industry experience in product design or a related field
- Background designing complex financial applications is a plus
- Understanding of web standards, capabilities, and best practices including HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in human-centered design, including research, experience strategy, user flows, journey mapping, wireframing, information architecture, UX/UI, usability testing, and accessibility
- A portfolio showing experience designing and contributing to product releases
- Entrepreneurial drive and interest in a complex, commercially focused, fast-paced environment
- Ability to balance business and user needs
- Ability to adapt to new priorities, manage multiple initiatives at once, and think on your feet
- Experience with Figma and design systems
- Ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
