Art Director

Natural Cycles is seeking a multi-disciplinary Art Director in the New York City area to define visual and tonal guidelines, guide brand storytelling, and lead end-to-end brand content across paid advertising, CRM, PR, and editorial channels. The role combines high-level creative strategy with hands-on production, with an ongoing focus on performance and brand integrity.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Narrative: Develop campaign concepts and apply creative storytelling methods that motivate both audiences and internal teams.
• Evolution of Visual Identity: Support the creation of a strong, innovative, and clearly defined brand visual language.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with web, content, growth, and creative teams to keep style guides maintained, updated, and consistently followed across global platforms.
• Content Creation: Conceptualize, design, and lead the development of high-quality still and moving creative assets for paid and organic marketing.
• Production Direction: Brief and direct photo and video production to ensure the Natural Cycles ethos is represented accurately from concept through final cut.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Manage relationships with external agencies, creative partners, and freelancers; review visual assets, provide consistent feedback, and troubleshoot as needed to meet fast-paced needs.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Use performance data and insights to continuously optimize content, supporting business growth while preserving brand integrity.
• Trend Research: Continually research content trends and creative projects to uncover new opportunities to engage audiences.

Location and Work Schedule

• Natural Cycles is remote-friendly and values in-person connection.
• The NYC team meets in the office every Wednesday.
• Candidates should be based within commuting distance of NYC.

Salary

USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year. Final compensation is determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. Salary ranges may be modified in the future.
