Job Description

Art Director for Prime Video's Sports Marketing team, onsite in Culver City, CA, with a salary range of USD 120,500 - 163,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Create and sustain visual identities across Prime Video's live sports properties portfolio
  • Develop brand guidelines and scalable design systems to ensure consistency across all marketing channels
  • Lead hands-on design from concept to final deliverables, including key art, digital ads, partner materials, and promotional content
  • Utilize AI tools to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and scale production
  • Craft reusable templates and processes to simplify workflows across projects
  • Design scalable solutions adaptable to diverse formats, platforms, and placements
  • Capture and share learnings and best practices to inform the broader team
  • Respond rapidly to real-time sports developments such as injuries, trades, roster changes, and breaking news
  • Balance planned campaigns with urgent, time-sensitive creative requests
  • Present concepts and design rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, and production teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
  • Coordinate with external agencies, media partners, and vendors to scale production as needed
  • Stay current with design trends, sports marketing practices, and emerging technologies
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of professional experience in art direction, graphic design, or a related creative field
  • 3+ years designing for digital platforms including display advertising, paid media, and web
  • Portfolio showing at least 3 projects with strong digital platform acumen and at least 3 brand/visual identity examples demonstrating scalable design systems and production-ready specifications
  • Experience leveraging AI tools in creative workflows and articulating practical applications in design and marketing
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Functional knowledge of Figma and Microsoft 365
  • Experience presenting creative to C-level executives and cross-functional teams
