Senior Product Designer, Prime Video
Job Description
Lead end-to-end product design for Prime Video’s Enterprise AI-driven marketing planning and optimization suite.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for a suite of AI-driven marketing planning, management, and optimization products, from problem framing through handoff, launch, and iteration
- Define a progressively hands-off-the-wheel experience, including automation levels, what the system does independently versus what it proposes for approval, and how that boundary shifts as trust is earned
- Co-own AI behavior with engineering to support trust: help people understand recommendations, view reasoning and provenance, review at volume, correct instead of rejecting, and recover when the system is wrong
- Design the intelligence layer that closes the loop across strategy, goals, spend, and outcomes so the system learns from each campaign and surfaces benchmarks and recommendations
- Design AI-assisted and increasingly automated planning across the campaign lifecycle, including categorization and tiering across territories, budget and channel allocation, work-back and scheduling, team assignment, and the brief
- Design AI creative capabilities for generating marketing assets at scale, plus the review, correction, and quality bar needed to ship generated output
- Define where recommended plans and generated assets are good enough to ship versus where human craft and decision-making remain required
- Map the full marketing lifecycle across formats, languages, and territories, accounting for real constraints such as scale, variants, multi-team processes, and edge cases
- Set interaction and visual standards for portfolio coherence and feed learnings back into the design system
- Lead design workstreams with other designers and create patterns and tooling that improve team speed
- Connect design decisions to measurable outcomes and prioritize ruthlessly
- Present and defend recommendations to senior leadership and write decision narratives that work without you in the room
- Partner across product, engineering, research, design technology, marketing, brand, sports, portfolio, legal, and data science
- Run discovery with marketers, strategists, channel owners, portfolio planners, and operators using this work today
- Mentor designers on the team and raise overall design practice
