Job Description

Senior UI/UX designer role at Intone Networks in Waltham, MA (onsite), focusing on design systems, high fidelity UI, adaptive web and native mobile design, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate senior level execution across production environments with quality and consistency.
Showcase a portfolio that evidences visual craft and fluency with systems and component level thinking.
Maintain expert level Figma capabilities including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and work within a mature design system.
Design for both adaptive web experiences and native mobile interfaces.
Apply knowledge of accessibility standards in line with WCAG 2.x guidelines.
Be self directed and organized, maintaining momentum across multiple work streams.
Communicate clearly and proactively, remaining responsive to feedback and shifting priorities.

Requirements

Portfolio demonstrates senior level UI execution within a structured design environment.
Contributes to design system work.
Examples of extending or building on an existing component library, including new variants, pattern additions, or documentation.
High fidelity UI screens that reflect production quality.
Polished production work across web and/or mobile platforms.
Emphasis on visual craft, typography, spacing, and consistency across screens, not solely wireframes or flows.
Prototypes.
At least one interactive prototype showing transitions, states, or interaction logic relevant to the project context.
Iteration examples that show responses to feedback or constraints from a lead or stakeholder.
Evidence of collaborative execution as part of a team, not only solo work.
