Background writing for Republican campaigns, PACs, or advocacy groups
Experience with corporate communications in regulated or reputation sensitive industries

Responsibilities

Produce clear, persuasive copy for a diverse roster of public affairs clients
Craft messaging for websites, ad campaigns, video scripts, digital ads, email blasts, brochures, and more
Adapt tone, structure, and strategy to match each brand or candidate voice
Collaborate closely with strategists, designers, and digital teams to ensure alignment
Support rapid response needs
Edit and refine drafts for accuracy, clarity, and impact

Requirements

3+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency, political, or in house)
Strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of marketing work
Excellent grasp of tone, narrative, structure, and audience targeting
Ability to work quickly under deadlines without sacrificing quality
Comfort with conservative, free market messaging
Experience with digital marketing, branding, or campaign communications is a plus
Familiarity with AP style and political compliance language
