Job Description

The Brivity team at PLACE Corporate Careers is building and refining real estate websites for agents and teams, and you would play a hands-on role from design through front-end implementation. This onsite Web Designer position in Bellingham, WA focuses on customizing the Brivity website platform, delivering responsive customer sites, and partnering with Web Design Project Managers and Support to keep builds moving and issues resolved.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement real estate websites for agents and teams using the Brivity website platform
  • Customize templates and page layouts to match each agent’s brand
  • Build responsive websites that perform well across devices
  • Execute website builds based on project specifications from Web Design Project Managers
  • Implement requested revisions and improvements
  • Troubleshoot front-end and customer website issues alongside the Support team
  • Customize and enhance sites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, improving layout behavior, styling, and interactive elements
  • Debug front-end issues and apply fixes
  • Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code to generate and refine code, and continuously improve your development workflow
  • Build and update websites for multiple customers each week while following established design and development standards

What you bring

  • 2 to 5 years of web design or front-end development experience
  • A strong portfolio showing sites you’ve built or customized, ideally within website builders, CMS platforms, or similar systems
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Comfort editing and troubleshooting JavaScript
  • A solid grasp of responsive design
  • Ability to solve practical design problems quickly and maintain attention to detail while working at pace
  • Curiosity about working smarter with AI tools (for example, Claude Code and ChatGPT) and a habit of refining how you use them to speed up development and troubleshooting
  • Bonus: experience building websites for real estate professionals
  • Bonus: experience with proprietary or template-based website builders
  • Bonus: experience working in a high-volume production environment

Compensation and benefits

$60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
