Web Designer
Job Description
National Home Builders LLC is seeking a part-time, in-office Web Designer based in Columbia, SC to support day-to-day website updates, landing page builds, and ongoing maintenance. This role is hands-on and focused on keeping pages mobile-friendly, clean, and well organized while working directly from instructions provided by the lead designer.
Role focus
- Assist with building landing and conversion pages for website projects
- Support ongoing work across multiple clients while handling simple tasks reliably
- Make sure pages are mobile-friendly and easy to navigate
Responsibilities
- Assist with building landing and conversion pages
- Format and upload content including text, images, blog posts, and service pages
- Make basic website edits and updates
- Follow clear instructions from the lead designer
- Ensure pages are clean, organized, and mobile-friendly
- Install and update plugins as directed
- Perform routine website checks and minor fixes
- Support ongoing website projects across multiple clients
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience writing code, including HTML/CSS/JS (personal or professional)
- Familiarity with WordPress (Wix, Weebly, and Squarespace are not helpful)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Organized approach for managing simple tasks across multiple websites
- Reliable and consistent execution
- Basic understanding of how websites function

- Pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
Bonus (preferred)

- Experience with image editing (Photoshop or similar)
