Job Description

The Visual Design Associate Manager role at Accenture Song centers on steering visual design direction across engagements, delivering polished visuals, mentoring teammates, and incorporating AI-enabled workflows while collaborating with clients and the design practice.

Role Overview

In this position, you shape and defend a distinctive visual point of view, guide design quality across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, and digital experiences, and contribute to the development of a cohesive design practice. You combine hands-on craft with leadership, engaging stakeholders and growing the team through mentorship and collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and steer the visual design direction on internal and client engagements from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, aesthetic cohesion, and timely progress.
  • Translate briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into compelling visual solutions, while developing an original visual point of view.
  • Deliver high quality work across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital experiences with meticulous craft and attention to detail.
  • Operate in a hands-on, self-directed manner: own your workstream, make deliberate design decisions, and provide production-ready outputs with minimal needs for redirection.
  • actively incorporate AI tools to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, contributing to evolving AI-enabled workflows within the team.
  • Participate confidently in client and stakeholder discussions, articulating design rationale clearly and cultivating a trustworthy creative voice.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Visual Design across diverse industries, brand types, platforms, and contexts.
  • 2+ years contributing to visual design engagements end-to-end, from concept and strategy through production-ready delivery.
  • 2+ years producing brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI with a strong visual voice.
  • 2+ years delivering high-fidelity visual work with pixel-perfect deliverables and developer-ready specifications.
  • 2+ years mentoring or giving informal guidance to junior designers and helping others develop craft and confidence.
  • 2+ years experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists.
  • 2+ years grounding in UX principles that inform visual decisions and convey a coherent brand narrative.
  • 2+ years contributing to scalable design systems to maintain visual consistency across products and channels.
  • 2+ years comfort using AI tools in the visual design process, from concepting to rapid iteration, with openness to evolving practices.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related motion, illustration, or AI design tools.
  • 2+ years strong communication skills for presenting design rationale and engaging with clients and stakeholders.
