Vice President, Associate Creative Director - Copy
Job Description
This senior leadership position directs copy-centric creative across multiple channels for Saatchi & Saatchi Health, guiding a cross-disciplinary team, shaping winning pitches, and delivering large-scale campaigns while strengthening client relationships and pursuing new business. The role is onsite in New York, NY, with compensation ranging from USD 150,000 to 190,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Uphold high standards of creative quality in copy across channels
- Advocate a forward-looking approach to digital experiences for both the client and the agency
- Inspire and advocate for trendsetting, next-level creative work
- Report to the SVP, Creative Director or an equivalent department leader
- Lead, teach, and mentor members of the creative team
- Manage and nurture client relationships
- Drive new business initiatives
- Stay informed on industry benchmarks and evolving creative trends
- Ensure all creative output aligns with strategy, deadlines, and budget
- Lead client meetings to present creative concepts
Requirements
- Copywriting background with an award-winning portfolio that demonstrates memorable work across media, with emphasis on digital experiences
- More than 10 years in agency settings, including pharmaceutical and health and wellness shops
- Direct-to-consumer and health care professional campaign experience with strong comfort in HCP-focused work
- Experience managing large creative teams
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to guide the development of emerging creative talent reporting to the role
- Proven success delivering digital creative across a broad range of client and personal projects
- Collaborative demeanor with minimal ego, sound judgment, maturity, and enthusiasm
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting needs or direction
- Experience in brand strategy
- Proven medical marketing writing across HCP and consumer audiences across multiple media and tactics
- Meticulous attention to detail, copy accuracy, and adherence to labeling requirements
