Job Description

Based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, this onsite role at Stellantis focuses on shaping premium motion design for concept, advanced, and production interfaces across Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler. The position emphasizes readability, brand fidelity, and a customer-centric user experience, guiding how motion enhances how users interact with vehicle interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of high-end motion graphics, 3D, and CGI visuals for concept, advanced, and production interfaces across Stellantis' Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler brands.
  • Apply motion design to clarify information, improve readability and findability, while preserving each brand's distinctive identity.
  • Approach work with a brand-first designer perspective and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Bridge technology and user needs, ensuring smooth collaboration between tools, teams, and end users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Game Design, Entertainment Design, Communications Design, Graphic Design, UX Design, HCI, Product Design, or related UX field is preferred.
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in roles such as UX designer, motion artist, game designer, graphic designer, or interaction designer.
  • Strong ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to varied audiences and organizational levels.
  • Solid time-management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency across 2D and 3D software, including AI, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Unity, and Unreal.
  • Ability to develop compelling motion themes from concept through final production artwork.
  • Experience creating Motion Guides to communicate design intent to suppliers and development teams.
  • Use motion graphics and animation to bring interfaces to life and convey functionality to users.
  • Portfolio submission is required for consideration.

We are integrated with the interior and exterior design studios and collaborate with product planning, brand teams, software teams, HMI, engineering, and outside suppliers through all stages of the product development cycle.
