UI/UX/ Product Designer

Koniag Government Services is hiring a remote UI/UX/Product Designer to help shape intuitive, visually strong interfaces for Salesforce applications. The role partners closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to translate user needs into practical designs that fit Salesforce standards and support a consistent brand experience.

This position is based in Chantilly, VA (remote) and requires the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance. If you have a user-centered design background with hands-on Salesforce experience, you can help drive clearer workflows, better usability, and well-tested interface concepts.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand and refine user requirements.
• Create user-centric designs to improve usability and overall user experience within Salesforce applications.
• Produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that communicate design intent.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are feasible and remain consistent with Salesforce platform standards.
• Run usability testing, collect user feedback, and iterate on designs based on findings.
• Implement Salesforce customizations and configurations to support the desired user interface outcomes.
• Maintain design consistency across Salesforce applications in line with brand guidelines.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, including specific experience designing for Salesforce.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• A strong portfolio showing UI/UX work, with projects specifically in Salesforce environments.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and established best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Lightning Components.
• Ability to support implementation with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
