Temporary Graphic Design Coordinator

North Carolina State University is hiring a Temporary Graphic Design Coordinator to support ongoing communications and outreach needs in Raleigh, NC. This contract role focuses on refreshing existing materials while producing original graphics for print and promotional collateral, with occasional updates to designated website pages. The work is performed onsite in an office environment using an Apple iMac, alongside the Executive Director and the Outreach Strategy Planning Manager.

Role Summary

In this 2 to 4 week time-limited appointment, you will coordinate graphic design deliverables across multiple formats. The position includes both layout-oriented production work and content-ready graphic creation for materials used in outreach and program communications.

Responsibilities

• Update existing materials and create original graphic designs for various print products.
• Create leader guides that include thumbnail images and key talking points.
• Design recipe cards.
• Produce standard 8-1/2 × 11-inch activity sheets.
• Create multi-page brochures.
• Develop related promotional collateral to support outreach efforts.
• Update designated website pages as directed.
• Operate on an Apple iMac computer platform and work onsite in an office environment alongside the Executive Director and the Outreach Strategy Planning Manager.
