UEG is seeking a seasoned Associate Creative Director-Art to lead the concept and execution of integrated, earned-first campaigns. This onsite role in New York focuses on culturally relevant, PR-able ideas designed to drive national earned media across social, digital, video, experiences, and content in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Salary

USD 105,000 - 175,000 per year

Role Summary

The Associate Creative Director-Art will guide the development of big ideas from conception through creation, partnering across disciplines to plan and execute integrated campaign work. The position emphasizes standout creative with an earned-first mindset and the ability to translate concepts into tactics across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an Associate Creative Director-Copywriter and follow direction from creative leadership to concept and execute integrated campaigns and programs across media and platforms, with a focus on social, digital, video, experiences, and content
  • Create and design earned-first, social-by-design campaign ideas for client work and new business pitches
  • Coordinate with multiple specialties including account, strategy, project management, and influencer teams
  • Translate creative concepts into practical tactics that meet program objectives
  • Manage multiple active projects and provide direction to other team members as needed
  • Partner with a project manager and production teams to schedule work and coordinate production
  • Prepare and deliver client creative presentations and support the client-approval process
  • Work with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget

Requirements

  • Strategic and collaborative approach with a demonstrated record of “big ideas” and measurable wins
  • Experience leading 360 campaigns with an earned-first mindset
  • Commitment to producing smart, distinctive, award-winning work
  • Strong interest in trends and internet culture, including music, entertainment, and sports, with attention to nuance and craft
  • Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams by aligning creative, strategy, production, social, and related disciplines to deliver breakthrough outcomes
  • Low-ego, self-starting, and highly detail-oriented with a team-focused style
  • At least 6 years of experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail using a team-oriented, entrepreneurial approach
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design) or relevant work experience
  • Experience maintaining client contact as needed and supporting budget and schedule development
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload while meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional-level mastery of industry-standard design tools, including the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Production experience in art direction and design for video, digital, and social platforms
  • Confidence in discussing past work clearly and concisely during the interview process

Compensation Notes

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The listed range is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
