Structural / Graphic Design Co-Op

Menasha Corporation & Companies is offering a Structural / Graphic Design Co-Op in Lyndhurst, NJ, supporting the Structural & Graphic Design teams with hands-on production work across structural packaging and point of purchase displays. This internship is planned to run from January to August 2027, with an onsite schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The role supports the day-to-day design production process, from building and photographing display mock-ups to organizing presentation materials and updating component specifications using specialized tools.

What you’ll do

• Assist with the design production of structural packaging and point of purchase (POP) displays.
• Operate a Kongsberg Cutting Table to create sample materials for Corrugated Display Components.
• Mount printed sheets to corrugated material for use in display mock-ups.
• Assemble and build POP display samples.
• Photograph displays and prepare presentation-ready materials using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Create Display Assembly Instructions in Adobe Illustrator to organize digital photographs.
• Create or modify 3D renderings in Cinema 4D (listed as Cinema 4D; “Cimema 4D” appears in the source).
• Use Artios CAD to recall existing display components, modify or design display components, and generate specification packages.

What you bring

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or Industrial Design (or a related degree).
• Basic knowledge of Adobe software, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of 3D rendering software (preferred: Cinema 4D).
• A self-starter mindset and willingness to take on additional tasks to support the Design staff.
• Dependability with strong attention to detail.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of Artios CAD and CAPE.
• Internship and co-op positions require the student to be currently enrolled in post-secondary education at the time of employment.

Onsite program context
