Genpact LLC invites a Senior Developer to design and operate an automation-first API delivery platform built on Apigee Edge. This onsite role in New York centers on secure API proxy workloads, modernizing CI/CD, enabling self-service deployments, and governance at scale within a global enterprise API ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate an automation-first API delivery platform on Apigee Edge (non-hybrid), emphasizing secure proxy workloads, CI/CD modernization, self-service deployments, and scalable governance using API Management APIs, Node.js, Grunt, and scripting.
• Design and standardize API proxy development at scale, including policies, shared flows, and reusable bundles.
• Automate the API proxy lifecycle with import/deploy/undeploy/redeploy, manage revision governance, promote across environments, and implement rollback patterns via management APIs.
• Coordinate parallel multi-environment, multi-plant releases with controlled sequencing and environment-specific configuration injection.
• Oversee lifecycle governance through multi-version management, drift detection, compliance validation (policy baselines and OpenAPI alignment), and lifecycle analytics.
• Implement release safety controls such as one-click rollback, revision freezes, and guardrails to prevent unintended changes.
• Enable self-service workflows for automated request, approval, and deployment, plus deployment failure analysis.
• Construct automated CI/CD tollgates that verify policy compliance, security controls, OpenAPI/spec integrity, dependency health, and configuration drift, delivering auditable pass/fail evidence and a release readiness score.
• Provide operational visibility through dashboards and reports on usage, quota burn, capacity, spikes, and real-time anomaly alerts.
• Modernize API pipelines by standardizing on Copilot-assisted Python workflows with guardrail-driven deployments using Artifactory.

Compensation

• Annual base salary: USD 55,000 – 68,500
